My mom and I were planning a surprise Alaska cruise for my dad's 70th birthday. Troy helped us nail it. My favorite excursion was visiting Vicksburg, Mississippi. It is a city of History where the Civil War was fought. I enjoyed the beautiful historic mansions that are now Bed and Breakfast mansions. My second favorite excursion was touring the USS KIDD, one of the America's most famous fighting ships during WWII. I also visited the old Southern Plantations. Just being on the boat was great fun. I enjoyed the evening entertainment and other activities. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the dining room, I met a lot of fun people and we shared many laughs together.
